Biography of Firoz Ahmed
Firoz Ahmed is a dedicated member of the 33rd batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Audit and Accounts) with a strong commitment to public service and financial management. Since October 2021, he has served as Chief Accounts and Finance Officer (CAFO) at the President’s Office, where he ensures financial accountability at the highest government levels. Previously, as Deputy Director at the PTST Audit Directorate, he enhanced auditing practices across various ministries. His experience also includes roles at the Foreign Aided Projects Audit Directorate and as Assistant Chief Accounts Officer in Roads and Highways.
Firoz holds a professional accountancy qualification (Certificate Level) from CIPFA UK and a Master of Public Administration in Finance from the University of Birmingham. Balancing his professional life, he is a devoted family man with two sons, embodying dedication and responsibility both at work and home.
